Ricoma face-to-face: Brazilian customers highly praise products innovation and after-sales service

Recently, Ricoma held a special face-to-face meeting at its Chinese headquarters. As a leading manufacturer of embroidery equipment, Ricoma focuses not only on product quality but also on the voices of its customers.


In this meeting, Ricoma was privileged to welcome two senior embroidery equipment engineers, Pedro Coppo and Iodenir Junior, from our distributor, a Brazilian group, who came to the Chinese headquarters to participate in new product technical training.


Throughout the conversation, they not only expressed high praise for Ricoma's brand and products, but also strongly affirmed the after-sales service and marketing support provided. Moreover, they emphasized their hopes for continued cooperation and development with Ricoma in the future.



Ricoma prepared the most popular alcohol-tinged latte for the two engineers, so that our guests can experience the Chinese cordiality.


Especially, engineer Pedro Coppo has a soft spot for Chinese Baijiu, and he not only tried to add Chinese Baijiu to his latte, but also excitedly said, “The first time I drank Chinese Baijiu, I fell in love with it. Now it's fascinating to see the combination of alcohol and coffee. ”

l RicomaWhat is your position at NS Group?

Engineers: Yes, although there's a bit of a language barrier. We are the technician and we are also responsible for training in the NS Group. Our role within the NS Group is technician, We receive members from all areas in Brazil, and transform these technicians into new groups. So far we have managed to set up 3 groups with a total of approximately 18 new technicians.


l Ricoma: How long have you been working at NS Group?

Engineers: This year, we are going to be part of the group for 3 years and 5 years. But one of us have been working for 40 years In the embroidery industry.


l Ricoma: How is the progress of this training?

Engineers: Our being here in Ricoma was to collect Information to solve the issues that we are working on Brazil. When we arrived here, we realized that the technical level of Ricoma team is very high. They were able to pass on the knowledge to us, which was very good. This will help solve a lot of problems of ours.

We noticed that the Ricoma staff we had contacted in the company are totally committed to the Ricoma brand.They promptly answered our questions and the explanations provided are very detailed.For instance, the process of making adjustments on machines and the appropriate procedures to operate the machines.


l Ricoma: What are your comments on Ricoma's products?

Engineers: Over the years, the evolution of the Ricoma brand and product has been very rapid.It was so a different, and it was like the difference between water and wine.It has been a remarkable breakthrough.Before they offered slightly simpler machines.But today, it has risen and transformed into a renowned brand in the industry.A brand of high technology and sophisticated products.That includes the ones that are about to be launched to the market.On top of what Junior already mentioned.We realized that the technological advancement that Ricoma brings to the market is constant and solid.

So with that, we are guaranteed to have excellent equipment to sell in Brazil.


l Ricoma: What are your comments on Ricoma's service team?

Engineers: We can only speak very highly of the team because the time the technical supports have been perfect.And all our questions were promptly answered with their detailed instructions.It's nothing but the truth, every piece of information Ricoma team provided was useful.I had a lot of doubts because that all the new products have their peculiarities.

By coming here we can fully understand how we could work with these new products better and what new functions and features we could show our customers that are different from other machines on the market.Moreover, all the staff are totally engaged in evolving the products, and each evolution adds more value to both the brand and its distributors.


l Ricoma: What marketing support has Ricoma provided to NS Group? Do you think they are effective?

Engineers: We don't work directly with marketing in our company but when I called last night and talked to the person in charge of our marketing.She told us that all the needs, she has had so far, have been promptly met by Ricoma. And with Mrs. Ofélia as a channel of connection with Ricoma who is our point of contact, she has promptly attended to our needs.

What more she told us is that it would be great if they also had the possibility to access a more open channel regarding marketing material so that she could manage it herself. It's like Pedro commented, being able to manage it by herself. It's more about the platform.So if we're going to talk about marketing, we're going to be talking about something that's outside of our area. It would be better to contact Daara, the person responsible for marketing.Our part is more about the technical side of the business.


l Ricoma: Do you have any suggestions on how Ricoma can better serve NS Group?

Engineers: And that is the main reason for our visit here, the main reason was the machines, including the Chenille machines that we received in Brazil and we had little information. And very little knowledge about we had difficulties and questions. And we came here to collect specific information about the chenille machine, and this information was passed on to us.

We are leaving here with a lot of information, and we now believe that we are capable of carrying on with the good work. On Chenille machines, we collected a lot of information about other models, and now we have become experts of operating these models.

If we were to suggest something, I would say a more open channel about the detailed resources of each feature of the machines. And again , I will specify the chenille machine, because it is a very different model. The information part of the part book is something we already have, but we know it will be available the next year. However, the detailed configuration of the parameters  is also essential for us to understand, and to showcase the features of the equipment. Let Alice, and Sophie join Brazil directly, but that's just a joke.

Besides, the equipment, as we are here to add value, Cand all the information we were able to collect added a lot to our knowledge, so that in the near future the sales and the entire product portfolio in Brazil will improve a lot. Therefore, NS Group and Ricoma in joining hands we will a strong union. With this stronger union, we will continuously strengthen our bonds and thus grow even more.
