The China Import and Export Fair (abbreviated as the Canton Fair) was founded on April 25, 1957, and is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. It is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre. It is a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, highest level, largest scale, most complete range of products, largest number of attending buyers from the widest range of countries and regions, and the best business results in China, and is known as “China’s No. 1 Fair.”
From October 15 to 19, 2026, the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair Phase 1) was held at the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou, Guangzhou. As a benchmark enterprise for intelligent innovation in the sewing equipment sector, Ricoma exhibited a range of embroidery machines and met face to face with buyers from the global textile, garment, and embroidery industries, bringing its participation in this fair to a successful conclusion.
At the show, Ricoma exhibited sewing-embroidery combo machines, single-head machines, and multi-head machines, with live machine demonstrations that showed the machines’ stable embroidery performance and the outstanding detail of the finished embroidery. The range covers diverse scenarios, including batch production in factories, custom work in studios, and personal embroidery hobbies. Many visitors stopped to examine the embroidery samples and asked in detail about machine operation, maintenance, compatible fabrics, and localized service solutions.
Face-to-face communication is where trust begins. During the fair, the Ricoma team received visitors from all over the world, gained an in-depth understanding of embroidery market needs in different regions, and gathered customer suggestions for machine upgrades. Ricoma remains committed to in-house R&D and manufacturing and focuses on embroidery machine production, helping embroidery professionals improve production efficiency with reliable quality and flexible solutions.
The fair has ended, but the conversation about cooperation has just begun. Going forward, Ricoma will continue to follow up with the prospective customers from this Canton Fair, addressing each customer’s needs one by one and providing technical solutions. At the same time, we will incorporate the market needs gathered at this fair into product iteration and keep refining the performance of our embroidery machines.
Thank you to every old and new friend who visited our booth, and to our team for their dedication throughout. In the future, Ricoma will continue to uphold craftsmanship in smart manufacturing and bring professional embroidery solutions to more corners of the world. We look forward to working hand in hand with partners around the globe for shared success.
